Welcome to Detroit NABJ
The Detroit chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (Detroit NABJ) was founded in December 1982 by Black journalists working at print, TV, and radio news outlets in the city.
For emerging journalists, the Detroit NABJ mentoring program offers an opportunity to benefit from the experience and counsel of Black journalists in Metro Detroit.
The chapter also provides its members with the necessary tools they may need to perform in their jobs through year-round programming that help then enhance their skills and network within the industry on the local and national level.
