For the 15th year, Detroit NABJ hosted its Show the Love fundraiser that benefits Metro Detroit journalists and media-related professionals who are laid off, experience severe illness or other hardships.
On Nov. 21, 2023, the chapter in partnership with the Detroit Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Asian American Journalists Association of Michigan, hosted the event that included raffling of a floral bouquet and music by veteran journalist Luther “Badman” Keith and his blues band.
